Under the coordination of the Karadeniz Technical University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center and with the support of the European Union's Erasmus+ programme, country reports and a joint comparative analysis report on the technology transfer ecosystems of Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Türkiye have been published as part of the “Strengthening Technology Transfer Ecosystem through an Innovative and Digital Approach (STEIDA)” Project.
The report provides an in-depth analysis of each country’s technology transfer system in terms of key actors, legal frameworks, funding mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, services provided by technology transfer offices, and structural capacities. Following the presentation of national analyses by each country partner, the joint report highlights the strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement across the six countries.
The project aims to strengthen the technology transfer ecosystem through an innovative and holistic approach that fosters national and international collaboration among universities, academic staff, businesses, students, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders by developing and utilizing digital platforms and networks.
